The Tongji park lies at the Mt.Xibu , covering the area of 4.2 hectares .25,000,000 yuan was invested to build the park which was completed on October 18 ,1997.
  The newly-built sightseeing tower which is 108 meter high is in the peak of the park .There is the travel service department on the ground floor .The fourth floor is for sight-seeing , and the cafe is at the top of the tower.The park is also equipped with tennis court,car park,and latrine etc.The Tongji memorial tower becomes the new beauty spot in the downtown,and is one of the best places where people tour on their leisure time and overlook the city .
