Lang Qin Bay is located at Beidou town, and covers an area of 756.3 mu .The sand beach is more than 800 meters long , strange stones on the bank. At the western cape ,there is a stone which resembles a young girl's head looking around to the sea, it is said this is the well-known sight spot " Ah Qin Wanghai "
  According to the old tradition,in the old times,there lived a young couple whose names are Lang and Qin. Though poor , they lived a happy life.A sinister landlord Rong in the village took a fancy to this beautiful girl, so he forced Lang to pay the fishing taxes. Being poor, Lang couldn't afford to pay it. Master Rong said that if Lang couldn't pay taxes within two weeks, Qin would be seized to act as slave girl.Three days passed by ,but the couple did not raise money yet. Then the fisherman who had returned to the port to dodge typhoon said that rare grouper crowd had been found in the surface of South China Sea . In order to prevent Qin from being seized, Lang disregarded Qin’s persuasion and decided to risk taking the sea. Unfortunately , Lang was soon drowned because of the maritime typhoons.However ,Qin was stubbornly keeping watch by the sea day and night.Year after year, month after month, Qin finally became a stone .The descendants were moved by the unswervingly loyal love story, so called this place " Langqin bay”.6 million yuan has been invested to build such facilities as lovers house, vacation restaurant, Sauna, barbecuing, surfing, seawater bath and Kara OK dance hall etc.
