Baisha town lies in the northwest of Taishan city.The whole area is 122.9 sq.km, has jurisdiction over 24 committees in the village and 2 neighborhood committees.The permanent resident population is nearly 43,000.There are more than 50,000 overseas Chinese and HongKong,Macao compatriots.
   The agricultural products are abundant,including sweet rice,water cress,fresh fish,louts root,potato,rutabaga,wheat and beans,carrots and so on.Among them,Chaojing carrots and big head dish are very tender and with high quality.They are delicious and famous at home and broad.
   The mineral resources are abundant such as limestone,clay,porcelain mud,quartz,antimony,aluminum,silver,iron,coal and so on.They are the key building materials in Taishan City,which consist of 4 cement plants,3 lime factories.Surveyed by geological departmetns of province and city,Chuanbu hot spring and Langnan hot spring ,which can store much high quality water,are sources in the hot spring of Taishan.Surrounded by hills adjacently,their environment is graceful and it can be developed as the service trade of the travel.
   With the perfect infrastructure in the town,the terraqueous traffic is convenient .There is a large-scale transformer substation for 110,000 volts , and electric wire network covers the whole town.There are 2 waterworks--Baisha and Chaojing will be designed which supports 40,000 square meters for day.There are 6000 pieces of Networking of program-controlled telephone.Telecommunications and mail service spread all over the whole town.We can realize fax,phone,post and converse with all parts of the world directly.
