Duanfen town lies in the midst of Taishan city.With the total area of 300 square kilometres, it is the biggest town of the city .The area of mountain region is 250,000 mu ,and plowland 70,000 mu . 37 villager committees and 1 neighbourhood committee are governed .The total population is 60,600.   Traffic and communication of the town is developed , and water and electricty is sufficient .Nian-Guang highway runs through from north to south .There are a transformer substation for 110,000 volts and Da Long Dong reservoir that can store water of 2100 million cubic metres.
