Nafu town lies in the west of Taishan city .The coastline is more than 30 kilometers long .There are 20 village ( resides ) committee meetings at the town ,the total population is 26,600, 143.9 square kilometres of area.The geographical position is unique , and one side is near the sea and three surrounded by mountains .The resources enrich , and there are green hills and clear waters . Water and land communication is convenient , and the highway extends in all directions .It builds 3 wharfs which can berth 2000 tonners freighters .

  It has the better nature condition .The land resources enrich ,with 28,000 mu of cultivated land ,120,000 mu of mountainous region area , 100,000 mu of forest and 20,000 mu of beach area .There are mineral products such as gold ,silver ,copper ,tin ,sulphur ,coal ,iron and limestone etc .Fresh water is sufficient.There are several reservoirs with total 36,485,000 cubic metres of storage capacity.
   After adjusting and optimizing the agriculture productive structure ,this town has formed the bases which are of 10,000 mu of peanuts ,10,000 mu of high quality litchi longans ,4000 mu of vegetables and 2000 mu of silkworm .As for industry, it concentrates on the building material trade.The annual output of cement plant is 100,000 tons , and the lime powder factory of 25,000 tons every year.With the first-class quality ,lime powder sells wel in Hong Kong , Macao and all parts of Zhujiang River Delta.Since the air is pure and fresh and the environment is quiet and clean,the tour resources are fairly abundant .There are the historic sites such as " Fen Jie Shi " , " Li Quan " , " Dan Zu Shui Mo " and “ big temple of Guan Sheng " etc .
